David Allen Davis, age 65, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A double memorial service for David and his father, Donald E. “Hap” Davis, who had passed away just days prior on August 25th, will be held at a later date in Keya Paha County, Nebraska. Online condolences may be made by visiting David's obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.

David was born on April 12, 1960, in Ainsworth, Brown County, Nebraska, the son of Donald E.

Davis and June Rose (Gish) Davis. He was the grandson of Hans W. Davis and Carmen E. (Williams) Davis of Springview, Nebraska, and Leonard R. Gish and Rose E. (Snow) Gish of Hamill, South Dakota.

He attended Gering Senior High School, graduating in 1978.

David married Dawn R. Burger on Oct 6, 1989, in Pierre, Hughes, South Dakota.

Survivors include his children, Tyler Doll of Pierre, South Dakota, Aurora "Rachel" Romero (Thomas) of Auburn, Nebraska, Rachel Holbrook (James) of Tremont, Illinois, Maverick Davis (Jen) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Noahlene Presley (Brandon) of Walsenburg, Colorado, and Juneil Gulley of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; he was the beloved grandfather of eighteen grandchildren, Julianna and Oliver, Ryun, Cyrus, Emma, and Isaiah, Skylar, Aspen, Jack, Thea, and Miles, Hiraya, Niko, Sapphira, and Myka, and Nicholas, Cameron, and Kayleigh. He is also survived by his siblings, Lorrie Ringleman (Launy) of Imperial, Nebraska, Leana Rosentrater (Rick) of Bridgeport, Nebraska, Dennis Davis of Iron Belt, Wisconsin, and LaDonna Tate (David) of Keller, Texas; ex-wife, Dawn Flad of Gettysburg, South Dakota; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

David's greatest love was his children and grandchildren, seriously outcompeting his love for his Harley. He lived and loved simply, but fully, giving to his children and grandchildren all the love he could muster. David lived and breathed the scripture, "take care of the widows and the orphans," and was the "good Samaritan" in all the rides, spreading handouts and care to strangers and anyone in need. He didn't have much, but what he had was shared with all.

Ride with the wind, David, tell Dad “Hi”.
