Mr. David Earl Deibler, age 80 of Suttles Road, Martin passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Gordon Wesley Deibler and Loretta Marie Haupt Deibler, he was born April 5, 1945 in Binghamton, New York, having moved to Waco, Texas in 1986 where he was employed with Baylor Bookstore. He later moved to Suwanee, Georgia where he was employed with Georgia State College as their Textbook Manager. Upon his retirement from Georgia State College, he moved to Stephens County, Georgia in 2019. He was a member of the Toccoa First Methodist Church. In his younger years, he loved to fish, hunt and hike. He was a hard worker and loved his family dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Deibler, two brothers, Gordon Wesley Deibler and Melvin Edward Deibler and by a sister, Laura Bacon.

Survivors include two sons, Bryon Deibler of Martin, Georgia and David Deibler of Waco, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and James Stine of Vero Beach, Florida; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Memorial service Saturday, September 20, 2025, 2 p.m. at Toccoa First Methodist Church with The Reverend April Briant officiating.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated.

Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. David Earl Deibler.
