David Lee Doolan “Doo”, 70, of Brazoria, Texas, was guided into the arms of the Lord on February 19, 2024. He was born to George Raymond Doolan and Evelyn Blank on September 1, 1953, in Freeport, TX.
David worked and retired as a boilermaker/welder from DOW chemical. David Lee met and married the love of his life, Cindy Lynne, some 45 years ago. David and Cindy enjoyed numerous hobbies that included fishing, hunting, and glamping.
David is preceded in death by his parents George and Evelyn, and sibling Teresa. He had also recently been aggrieved by the passing of his wife, Cindy, and is reunited with her.
David is survived by his son, Russell and wife Sarah Jean Sunshine of Aurora, CO, and their two children; siblings Janet Wells (Michael) of Houston; and Tina Phillips (Vernon) of West Columbia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5-7 p.m., at C.T. Baker Funeral Home 634 S. Columbia Dr. West Columbia, TX. Davids’s funeral service will begin on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Brazoria Cemetery.
