David Carroll Eastepp was born on October 5, 1948 in Trinity County, Texas to Carroll and Reba Eastepp. He grew up with his three sisters, Dorthy Gibson, Judy Wilkinson, and Sherry Brown in Lufkin, Texas. He graduated from Hudson High School. David passed away on May 30, 2024, in New Braunfels, TX. He is survived by his sisters, his daughter, Carole Rannefeld and her husband, Blue, son Clint Eastepp and his wife Clarissa, and son Craig Eastepp and his wife, Kaylan. He had 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. The graveside service will be held at East Prairie-Possum Walk Cemetery in Groveton, Texas, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 11:00 am. Pallbearers are Clint Eastepp, Craig Eastepp, Blue Rannefeld, Donald Eastepp, Lynn Eastepp, and Kevin Eastepp. Honorary pallbearers are Mac Eastepp and Dr. Tom Rice.
David served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1970-71.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to plant a tree in honor of David Eastepp.
