David A. Elliott

David A. Elliott, age 72, died at home on September 15. David was a proud Braintree native and lived there all his life. David graduated from Braintree High School and Harvard University where he excelled both in academics and athletics holding track and basketball achievements. He was proud to be inducted into the Braintree High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. He volunteered for the U.S. Army in 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1978 to care for his parents. Mr. Elliott worked as a courier in Boston for many years. Although known best for his achievements, his kindness and love of family and country were paramount. Beloved son of the late Anne and Royal Alden Elliott. Beloved brother of the late William Elliott and the late Kathleen Yinug. Uncle to Falan Yinug and Julia Elliott. Memorial service on Saturday, November 11 at the Sons of Italy Hall, 161 King Hill Rd., Braintree, MA at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
