Donna Marie (Mascaro) Pasteris of North Weymouth, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on September 8, 2025. She was 65 years old.
She grew up in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth North High School in 1978. Donna worked as an executive secretary for Smith Medical in Rockland and retired to care for her grandchildren. To her, being a grandmother was life’s greatest blessing. She poured her love into every hug, every kiss, and every laugh — with a special fondness for kissing her babies’ piggy toes, a memory her family will cherish forever. She loved tending to her “secret” garden, trips to Aruba and family beach nights. Her and her partner Bob danced their way around the South Shore, making friends wherever they went.
Loving daughter of Peter and the late Margaret Mascaro of North Weymouth. Survived by her greatest love, Bob Whyte, of North Weymouth. Cherished Mother to Rebecca Read and her husband Christopher of Marshfield, Melissa Larkin and her husband Kevin of Hingham, Katie Whyte of Rockland, and Brad Whyte and his wife Mai of Hanson. Devoted and loving Gigi to six grandchildren: Lilah, Hadleigh, Greysen, Josh, Matthew, and Adam. Sister to Kathleen Doughty and Mary Axworthy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
“I love you to the moon and back, around in circles a million times, forever and ever.” We won’t forget it.
