David Lee Ellison, a cherished resident of Pampa, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on February 5, 2025, at the age of 57. He was born on August 26, 1966, in Shamrock, Texas, to Harold and Lee Ellison.
David graduated from Pampa High School in 1985 and embarked on a career installing sprinkler systems. Known for his easy-going nature and intelligence, David was a quiet presence at gatherings, yet his vivacity grew as the evening progressed. He had an innate ability to connect with people and was well-liked by all who knew him, never causing any trouble.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lee Ethel, as well as his brothers, Harold Ellison Jr., James Ellison, and Christopher Davis, and his two sisters, Valinda and Felinda Ellison. Other deceased family members are James, Robert, Johnny, Lewis, Lonnie, Robert, and Joe.
He is survived by his stepmother, Linda Ellison of Pampa; his daughter, Dajavette Ellison of Connecticut; his brother, Bryson Conley of Hawaii; his sister, Merial Pratt of Del City, Oklahoma; his uncles, Sammie, Albert, Pastor Jesse, Kennard, and Paul; his aunts, Jewelene, Cynthia, Clara and Flora; three grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Plans for a Celebration of Life service are currently pending. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their beloved David to Winegeart Funeral Home. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of David Lee Ellison, please visit our Tree Store.
