David Estell

David Estell, age 77, passed into eternal life on June 20, 2022, in Yukon, OK. He was born 10 Aug 1945, in Oklahoma City, OK to Jesse James Estell and Violet Mae Dunn Estell. He graduated from Gotebo High School in 1964. He had a special place in his heart for his Aunt Pansy and Uncle Jim Shepherd who helped raise him. He worked for Crystal International for many years. During the 70's, 80's and 90's he worked for his brother at Charlie's Window Air Conditioning alongside his brother Buddy, nephews Charles Lee, Cliff, John Mark, Brian, Brad and Bobby Dale, stepson Kevin, nieces Cheryl and Carrie. He retired from Tinker AFB in 2007 as an aircraft mechanic. He had a great love of Nascar racing his favorite driver was #48 Jimmie Johnson.
Survived by children, Lisa Stanley, David Chris Estell, stepson Kevin Welchel, brother Troy, and sisters Mary Richardson, Pat Holland, and Sharon Blethen, and his grandchildren and great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Bessie and O.L. Dunn, brothers: Jesse, Bobby, Jack, Buddy, Tommy, Charles, and sister Dorothy Fay and stepson Montey Dale.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am through 8:30pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway Ave. in Moore, OK.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00am on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Sunny Lane Cemetery, located at 4000 SE 29th St. in Del City, OK.
