David Allen Foreman, aged 67, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, in Paris, Kentucky. Born on September 2, 1957, in Lexington, Kentucky, David was a man of exceptional kindness and generosity, whose thoughtfulness touched the hearts of many throughout his life.
David was predeceased by his loving parents, Harry Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lear Foreman, his sister Lynn Rose and her husband Paul, as well as his brothers William Wayne and Timothy Earl Foreman, and his dear nephew Bobbey Daniel Rose. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his remaining family, including his brother Anthony Lee Foreman and his wife Stacy, along with his adored nieces, April Gosdin, Jennifer Hughes, and Stacie Jester, and his nephews, Brian with wife Marisol Rose, Evan, Andrew, William, and Kevin Foreman.
An alumnus of the Kentucky School for the Blind, David exemplified resilience and determination in all aspects of his life. He was also a member of the Disciples of Christ Church.
David's hobbies reflected the diverse pleasures he found in life - from his impressive collection of coins and pocket knives to the joyous moments spent listening to UK Basketball games on the radio with his beloved pet parrot, Ottie, by his side. His passion for audio books further demonstrated his love for stories and learning, and he delighted in sharing this passion with those around him.
David's enduring spirit and the memories of his engaging conversations, with kindness always at the core, will be missed profoundly by everyone who knew him. His legacy, like his favorite collections, will be treasured by all as a reminder of a life well-lived and a person greatly loved.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday March 3, 2025, by Bro. Bob Mallory at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
