MORTON – David M. Frank, 90, of Morton, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Aperion Care Morton Villa. He was born October 28, 1932, in East Peoria, to Benjamin and Hildred (Ames) Frank. David married Iris Vinson on February 10, 1951, in East Peoria.
Surviving are his wife, Iris Frank of Morton; daughters, Joyce (Larry) Belsley of Morton and Becky (Terry) Beach of East Peoria; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and three brothers, Jerry (Beverly) Frank of Eureka, Robert (Carole) Frank of East Peoria and Alvin Frank of Crete, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Steve and David; one grandson, David; two great grandchildren, Lacey and Cordus; four sisters, Mary Lewis, Ruth Kerr, Jean Smith, Donnamae Frank and four brother, Wilbert Frank, Edwin Frank, Roy Frank and Donald Reed .
David worked for Yeomen’s Distributing Company in heating and air conditioning.
He enjoyed golfing, playing chess and farming.
David was a member of East Peoria Mennonite Church and Highlands Community Church in Sebring, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at East Peoria Mennonite Church, with Rev. Kim Litwiller officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Runners’ Association.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling cremation arrangements.
