Mr. David Frederick, age 63, of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 10, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Chelsie (Cox) Frederick and the late Glen Frederick.
He is preceded in death by his father Glen and a half-brother, Ricky Frederick.
David enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to fish, camp, go four-wheeling and especially liked cooking out in the mountains. He also liked to shoot pool and loved watching UK Basketball.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his mother, Chelsie Frederick of Barbourville, his three daughters, April Frederick of Barbourville, Jullian Johnson of Sonora, Kentucky and Samantha Frederick of Lyles, Tennessee, three brothers, Daryl Frederick and Richard Frederick, both of Barbourville and Gordon Hanner of Corbin, seven grandchildren, Aiden, Avery, Annalise, Taylor, Tristan, Logan and Keagan, and a special friend, Clifton Powell of London. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Frederick will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Burch-Alford Cemetery at Artemus. The pallbearers will be Gordon Hanner, Eric Frederick, Brett Frederick, Aiden Slone, Logan Gorbett and Daryl Frederick. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 3:00 p.m.
