David Patrick Gaffey, 61, of Spring City, husband to the late Victoria Houser, passed away at his home on December 28, 2025.
A longtime resident of Spring City, David attended Spring-Ford High School. He was a loyal and caring friend who valued the relationships in his life and treated many as family. In his younger days, David had a deep love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, riding mini bikes, and spending time in the mountains-activities that brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his parents, David and Carol (Gombos) Gaffey of Spring City; his sister, Christine Mallozzi, wife of Joseph Mallozzi of Royersford; his niece, Samantha Mallozzi of Quakertown; and his nephew, Justin Mallozzi of Collegeville. He is also survived by close friends who were like family to him, Gregory and Michael Francis, both of Spring City.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street Spring City, PA 19475. A visitation with the family will be held prior at 1:00 PM.
