David Gomez, born August 2, 1974, passed away September 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, charm, and love.
David was the beloved son of Irene Kokal and David Gomez (Janice) whom preceded him in death. The cherished younger brother of DeAnna Childers (Harvey), Kristie Driver(Preston) and Austin Merchant. He was a proud and loving uncle to Ashley, Zachery, Laine, Mariah, Trey, Kysen, Jackson, Ayden and to many great nieces and great nephews. His partner Doris Ramos, family and friends will forever remember his big heart and his ability to bring joy to every room he entered.
A natural-born salesman, David could sell you your own shirt and make you laugh while doing it. His charisma, quick wit, and gift of conversation made him unforgettable to everyone he met. Beyond his work, David had a deep, sentimental soul-he loved love itself, and he celebrated it openly and wholeheartedly.
David was the life of the party, the one who could lift spirits, spark laughter, and create memories that will last a lifetime. His absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but his stories, his laughter, and his love will continue to live on in all who knew him.
David proudly served one enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. He often spoke of his time in the service with immense pride, holding those years and the bonds he formed among his fellow Marines as some of the best of his life. The discipline, camaraderie, and honor he carried from his service shaped the man he became.
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will be carried forward by those who had
the privilege of loving him.
