Dave Goude was born to medical missionary parents in Nigeria, Africa on September 24th, 1959, and there spent the first six years of his life. He lived the majority of his life in Southern California and only recently moved to New Mexico.
On August 15, Dave and his wife, Elizabeth, celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary. On September 24 he turned sixty-five. Thursday, October 3, Dave's 4 yearlong courageous and determined battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma ended.
Everything Dave did, he did with his whole heart. It showed in his relationship with God as well as his family; in his life's work at Mother Nature's Goodies; in Civil Air Patrol, where his love of flying collided with a love of teaching and mentoring; Square-dancing with the Calico Quails; and learning and growing with Financial Peace University. All the friends and family that he gained in his life are evidence of a life well lived and well-loved.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, three sons, Alex (and wife Michelle), Mike, Nathan and five grandchildren, Amber, Autumn, Austin, Ryan, and Nolan.
He is also survived by brothers Lerner, John (Lynette), sisters Carol (Doug), Anne (Mike). He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Virginia Goude.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, November 4th, at 2:00 pm at the Olympus Event Center, 4591 Vista Fuente Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM.
