David A. Greenlee, a cherished husband, father, and friend, left this world on November 17, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on May 22, 1940, in Trenton, New Jersey, he was a beacon of light in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dave dedicated many years of his life to being a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 269, where he excelled as a self-employed electrician. His work was not just a profession for him; it was a craft that he took immense pride in, always ensuring that his clients received the highest level of service.

Beyond his career, Dave cherished the simple joys of life. He loved summers spent at his family home in Wildwood, New Jersey, where he created countless memories surrounded by loved ones. An avid boater at heart, David was often found at Curtin’s Marina in Burlington, NJ, where he kept his beloved boat. The open waters brought him peace and happiness, and the thrill of boating became a cherished part of his identity.

Dave had a zest for life that was evident in his fondness for dining out, with Red Lobster being his favorite spot. He enjoyed the companionship of those he loved while sharing a meal and relishing the joy of togetherness.

He was a devoted cat lover, with a particular fondness for his furry companions, most affectionately named "Critter." These cats were not just pets; they were part of his family, providing warmth, companionship, and comfort throughout the years.

Dave’s legacy continues through his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife, A. Elizabeth "Betty" Kull Greenlee, and his children, David and Sandy Greenlee, Jr. and Shirley A. and Rick Patterson. He also leaves behind his stepson, Howard S. III and Rita Templeton, along with stepdaughters Pearl Jean and Barry Lagomarsino, and Catharine S. and Daniel Kalczuk. His brother, Jack and sister-in-law Karen Greenlee, and sister Lorraine Greenlee will also carry on his memory. Additionally, he is survived by his granddaughter, Cassandra Tolle, grandson, Ricky Patterson, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will hold him dearly in their hearts.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Greenlee and Alice E. Robert Greenlee, who were proud of the man he became and the love he spread throughout his lifetime.

As we reflect on Dave's life, we remember a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on our hearts. His spirit will forever be a part of the fabric of his family’s lives, echoing in their laughter and cherished memories. David A. Greenlee will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
