David L. Hall II ObituaryKEY WEST, FLORIDA – David L. Hall II, 62, of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Key West, Florida.
David was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on January 3, 1963, son of the late David L. and Deloris M. (Rosensteel) Hall. David graduated from East Liverpool High in 1981 where he ran track, played in the band, and was a thespian. A retired Army Staff Sergeant, he proudly served on multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (1OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3OLC), Army Achievement Medal (7OLC), Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Master Driver and Mechanic Badges. David was a handyman who could fix anything and enjoyed woodworking. His true passion was spending time with his wife and family on his sailboat, traveling around Europe and the US, and cheering on his football teams, the OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. He doted on the many pets he had throughout his life but above all else, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Pappy), and brother.
Preceding David in death was his sister Karen S. Stewart.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, whom he married August 14, 1984, Katharine (Mangano) Hall; daughter Lauren Jarvis and her husband Daniel; two sons David L. Hall III and his wife Caitlin and Benjamin Hall and his wife Rachel Hecht; three grandchildren Grace Jarvis, Kaden Jarvis, and David L. Hall IV; two sisters Coleen Dailey and Dawn-Hall-Hardy and her husband Steve and brother-in-law Terry Stewart.
