David Eugene Hawkins, age 33, of Casey, IL passed away at 1:27 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Casey, IL. He was born March 6, 1992 in Terre Haute, IN the son of Sherri Ann Hawkins.
Survivors include his loving mother, Sherri Hawkins (Jeremy "Pappy" Hawkins) of Casey, IL; sister, Chelsey Hawkins (Dalton Bracken) of Casey, IL; daughter, Keeley Hussion of Casey, IL; son, Easton Hawkins of Peoria, IL; niece, Demi Hawkins of Casey, IL; grandparents, Robert and Marge Hawkins of Casey, IL; aunts, Barb Hawkins of Martinsville, IL and LuAnn Sandifer of Casey, IL; his cousins, Tre, Lacresha and Elliott, Jr. and many friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Oakleigh Hawkins.
David formerly worked for Beeman and Sons as an equipment operator. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman and MMA Fighter. His favorite hobbies were darts, playing softball and participating in corn hole tournaments. David always enjoyed Twisted Tea and Fireball with his friends.
Memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Amos Stephens, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service Friday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
