David Hellner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Byrum Funeral Home Inc. on Apr. 14, 2025.
David Wayne Hellner was born April 18, 1953 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life on April 8, 2025 in Dallas, TX.
David was a loving husband and father. He worked hard keeping his window a/c business going to provide for his family. He loved God and talking about the bible, and it didn't matter who you were, he was going to share that with you. David loved to go fishing and camping. Fishing was his passion, and every chance he got to go, he would. He loved to take long drives through the country making a day out of it. David was a character! He loved to joke and write silly songs and sayings (oh the voicemails ha ha). The memories we have will carry on through the years and will be cherished forever. Though he may be gone he will never be forgotten. David was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen; his son, Jeremiah Hellner; his grandchildren, Benjamin Martin and Lily Hellner; his siblings, Carlon and Daniel Hellner; and his parents, Raymond Clyde and Billie Ann Hellner.
David is survived by his children, Billy Hellner, Aaron Hellner, and Abigail Hellner; his grandchildren, John Hellner and wife Brooke, Annabelle Hellner, Gabrielle Hellner and husband Drew Owens, Carli Martin, and Isaiah Martin; 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Tina Rutledge, Raechon Ellis, and Becky Manchin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of David's life will be at 12:00pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster, TX. Visitation will begin an hour prior at 11:00am also in the chapel.
