David Helms Obituary

David was born on Tuesday, June 13, 1972, in Anniston, Alabama, the son of the late Olen Helms and the late Ruby Helen (Burgess) Helms.
David was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He loved college football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He kept a garden and enjoyed growing his vegetables. His wife and daughters prayed for him every day, and he will be missed and loved forever.
David is survived by, his wife of 13 years, Teresa Helms; 2 daughters, Sierra and Ariela Helms; 2 sisters, Debbie Martin, and Pat Taylor and her husband, Kenny; Aunt, Cleo Cole; Special Cousin, Phyllis Kilgore; Beloved Neice, Chelsea Powers and her husband, Clay; Great-Nephew, Olen Powers; A host of cousins, and special friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Service for David Wayne Helms will be held at the Stewart Cemetery with Pastors Tim Zuniga and Dan Russell officiating. Interment will follow the service.
