David was born in Springfield, Missouri, to Willford "Willie" Hill and Nora (Mead) Hill on March 23, 1956.
He attended Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri.
David's parents, Willie and Nora, siblings, Norman "Bud" Willford, Peggy Mulkey, Lola Rogers, Wilma Whittle, Wanda hill, and Lucille Rubrecht preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Brenna) Hill, Matthew (Michelle) Hill, his fur child, Ellie, siblings, Marlene Glendenning, Ruth Tenney, Helen Huffman, Doris Meyers, Howard Hill, Tom Hill, grandchildren, Kennedy, Carter, Kayde, Morganne, Annabell, Derek, Sidney, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing music, spending time with family and friends.
Dad was always there to help any of his friends and family when needed. While he was not wealthy, he would give the shirt off his back to help out if he could. His greatest joy in life was getting to spend time with his grandchildren. Everyone who knew Dave will surely miss him. Until we meet again Dad.
