WINSTON SALEM – David Allen Hill, 52, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home. David was born on October 30, 1972 in Forsyth County to Hilton and Lois Styers Hill. He had a huge heart for family and friends, and always willing to help somebody. Growing up around racing, he spent several years as a driver at Bowman Gray Stadium and loved running in the Demolition Derbys and Figure 8 competitions at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds. David shared his mother’s talent and love for cooking. You could often catch him cooking at events, giving away meals to anybody around. He also spent lots of time fishing and hanging out with his buddies.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Hill; and one sister, Karen Brewer.
Surviving are his father, Hilton G. Hill, Sr; two brothers, Hilton G. Hill, Jr., and Wayne Lee Hill (Jennifer); one sister, Susan Stanley; and many loving nieces and nephews.
