David Hisle Obituary
He was born on September 11, 1942 in Williamstown, Kentucky, the son of Thomas Hisle and Ruby (Brown) Duncan and attended Muncie Central High School. David was lovingly raised by his mother and step-father, Nathan Duncan.
He worked for Borg Warner for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Muncie Eagles Lodge FOE #231 where he was active along with his wife, Betty in the "Flying Eagles" and the Daleville Masonic Lodge F&E #730. He was an avid fisherman and Colts fan.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Betty Hisle of Muncie; five children, Cindy Oxley (husband, Lonnie) of Cicero, Davy Hisle (wife, Kelly) of Muncie, Gary Mader (wife, Susan) of Muncie, Connie Fink of Yorktown and Terri Sizelove (husband, Chris) of Alexandria; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great -great granddaughter; two brothers, Robert Duncan of Connersville and Tim Hisle (wife, Julie) of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Donna Cumbee, Jenny Marcum and Wanda Cartwright; one brother, Danny Hisle; and one son-in-law, Steve Fink.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
