David Allen Hufstetler, 63, of Plainville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. He was born in Rome, Georgia, on June 1, 1961, to Mary Elizabeth Hufstetler and the late John Hufstetler. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Hufstetler, and sister, Sharon Faith Hufstetler.
David enjoyed riding horses and was a loving grandpa.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty Sue Hufstetler; daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Taylor Payne, Hannah and Chad White; brothers, Gary Hufstetler and Randy Hufstetler; grandchildren, Ella Payne, Nolan Payne, Nora White, Grace White, and Emma White; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at The Bend, formerly known as Plainville Church of God of Prophecy.
The funeral service will follow on Thursday, at 11:00 AM from The Bend with Rev. Ronnie Chandler officiating. Music will be arranged by Ashton Vines. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Taylor Payne, Chad White, Tony Underwood, and David Hutchens.
