David Jensen Obituary
Dave was born to Ed and Bea Jensen January 24, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. He had a larger than life personality, and loved spending time in his garden with his bees when he wasn't making furniture for his children. He was a Navy veteran who led an eclectic career. He was a CT State Trooper, the long time owner of Jensen's Plumbing and Heating, an emergency responder for FEMA, a ship's captain, and he ended his career as a traffic engineer for Monroe County. He was active in Blessed Sacrament parish for many years; founded their Christmas tree sale, ran the pancake breakfast, served on the Parish Council, and served as the head usher. He was thrilled to receive a trip from Honor Flight, Mission 67, which flew him to Washington, D.C. with a few other veterans. He loved to tease and have fun, and if you listen closely, you might still hear him telling some young child, "I've seen better looking heads in a cabbage patch!"

I am very sorry to hear about Dave's passing. We worked together at Monroe County DOT - Dave was a hard worker and always had stories to tell us of his previous exploits.
