David Joel Luna, aged 22, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Salem. Born on September 18, 2001, in Salem, he was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and partner. David was a loving and charismatic young man who could light up a room with his energy and electric smile. He had a knack for making others feel loved and cherished, often lifting their spirits with his hugs and infectious positivity.

He had a passion for cars, karaoke, and dancing, which brought him joy and allowed him to express himself freely.

David is survived by his mother, Valerie Luna; sisters Isabella Marie, Destiny Monique, and Sara Delia; brother Daniel Jacob; Grandmother Maria Elena; girlfriend Rebeca Angelina; devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Luna Sr., great grandfather Jesus Garza, and great grandmother Angela Garcia.

A service to honor and remember David will be held at City View Funeral Home, 390 Hoyt St. S, Salem, OR 97302, on April 19th, 2024. The viewing will take place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

David will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.

My son was my pride and joy. He was a mamas boy. We had a bond that was unbreakable. I will forever miss you my sweet boy. He had a loving and kind heart. He was respectful such a amazing son. I was very proud to be his mom.
