David John Lamb
November 6, 1960 - August 23, 2022
On August 23, 2022, our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle is finally free from his broken and troubled body after 34 years. He was surrounded by his loving family at his passing in their home in Provo.
David was born November 6,1960 to Gene and Loudean Lamb in Provo, Utah. He was the youngest of 6 boys. He grew up in southeast Provo until he was 10 when his family moved to the Indian Hills area. He graduated from Timpview High School 1979. He met the love of his life, Justine Lamb, in 1985. They were married in April of 1986 and sealed in the Jordan River Temple a year later. He was a devoted husband and father and was a great example to all who met him.
David worked with his in-laws putting up fences along Utah highways for several years. He had a heart attack at 27 and a kidney/pancreas transplant at 30 causing him to become disabled. This didn t stop him from wanting to do service for others. He mowed lawns for years for several neighbors and he would fix sprinklers for anyone who asked for help. David was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Justine served faithfully in many callings over the years. Even though his health continued to decline he was always wanting to help others. David truly knew the meaning of empathy, since he endured so many trials. He always had a good attitude and with the support of his loving family, took every health challenge with great strength and courage.
David is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, niece (Kodi), great-niece (Grace) and great-nephew (Cadyn). He is survived by his wife, Justine Lamb, and children Justina (Steve) Peacock, Amber, and John; 5 Brothers Terry (Elouise) Lamb, Bruce (Linda) Lamb, Paul (Sherri) Lamb, Dennis (Sandee) Lamb, and Phillip (Janae) Lamb; 26 nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday, September 2nd from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem. A viewing will take place on Saturday, September 3rd from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Mojave Chapel, 3050 N. Mojave Ln. Provo. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Hills in Provo. I will always remember when David lived near us to work in the Portland area. He was also so willing to help my son in Provo when he was having car troubles. Such a loving, kind person. And what an example of perseverance. You will be missed David!

Wish I could be present to celebrate Davids life! I have fond memories of him when he was living here in Vancouver...always made sure we kids had chances to go swimming at his apartment, Will always think of him when I hear 'Air Supply' songs since we used to sing along to them in his car. He always talked to me like an equal, and was a great example of kindness and charity.
