David Wayne Larmore, 68, passed away Saturday August 24, 2024, in St. George, Utah.
He was born on September 12, 1956, in Lynwood, California and was the son of Donald Oliver Larmore and Virginia Mary Archer.
He married JoAnna Martinez in 1980 in La Miranda, CA. Marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles temple. They were later divorced.
David and JoAnna had eight sons. He worked hard to provide for his large family, sometimes working two or three jobs at a time to ensure their physical needs were met. In the weeks preceding his death, he was working in the yard with his son and grandsons. David taught his sons to work hard and persevere, even when things got tough. He also taught them the importance of service through his words and actions.
He is survived by his sons: Jared (Julie) Larmore, Joshua (Breanna) Larmore, Jonathon (Brittany) Larmore, David (Sarah) Larmore, Benjamin (Crystal) Larmore, Paul (Laurette) Larmore, Peter (Whitley) Larmore, and Thomas Larmore. Also, his 17 grandchildren, his sisters Donna, Terry, and Cindy, and his brother Doug and their families.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Cedar City Cemetery.
