We gather here today to celebrate and honor the life of Mr. William Daniel "Danny" Larmore Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on the 18th of October, 1951, in the heart of Salisbury, Maryland, Danny was a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched, and he returned to his Creator on the 25th of June, 2024, in the same town that he first called home.
Raised by his loving parents, William H. Larmore Jr. and Ruth G. Larmore, Danny grew up alongside his brothers, James and David, in a home filled with love and laughter. After graduating from Wicomico High School in the summer of 1969, he went on to master the craft of carpentry-a trade that showcased his intelligence, handiness, and analytical mind. Danny's skilled hands built more than just structures; they built a legacy of diligence and excellence. Danny was a man of many passions, and among them was the sweet melody of a guitar. His fingers danced across the strings, creating music that was a true expression of his soul. But Danny's spirit soared even higher when he took to the skies, piloting his plane with the same precision and dedication that he applied to every aspect of his life.
He was a pillar in his family, a guiding force whose legacy will live on through his children: William D. Larmore Jr. and Jennifer Ann Larmore, and his daughter-in-law Sharon. His love and wisdom will continue to shape the lives of his grandchildren: Haley Knight, Daniel Larmore, Nickolas Gonzalez, Dylan Gager, and Benjamin Gager. And in his great-grandson, Kash Knight, the spark of Danny's spirit will shine for generations to come.
Danny's life was a testament to the values he held dear-integrity, hard work, and the pursuit of knowledge. His presence was a comfort, his advice a treasure, and his love a foundation upon which his family will continue to build their lives. As we bid farewell to Danny, let us not dwell on the sorrow of his parting but rather celebrate the joy he brought into our world. He fought the good fight against cancer, not with bitterness, but with the quiet dignity and strength that characterized his entire life.
Today, we give thanks for the time we shared with Danny, for the memories we cherish, and for the lessons he taught us. We take solace in knowing that he is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord, free from pain and suffering. In the words of scripture, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Let us find comfort in each other and in the knowledge that Danny's life was well-lived and that his legacy will endure. As the sun sets on this chapter, we look to the horizon with hope, knowing that Danny's journey continues beyond our sight. His love remains with us, his spirit guides us, and his memory is forever etched in our hearts. Let us go forth with the assurance that Danny's life was a blessing, his memory a benediction, and his story an inspiration to us all. May we honor his legacy by living our lives with the same courage, passion, and love that he demonstrated every day. Rest in peace, dear Danny. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now, take your rest in the heavenly kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

I first met Danny about a couple of years ago when Ralph Brumbley dropped off, I think it was a dump-trailer, to him. Ralph´s talked, for years about his friend-Danny. When I had the privilege to finally meet Danny, I said, `So you are a real person and not an imaginary-friend of Ralph´s.´ Danny got a big kick out of me saying this. It´s been a joke between us ever since that first day.

Danny will be truly missed by Ralph as I know of their long time friendship and numerous hours of conversations of phone contacts. Theirs was a true friendship, now lost. It just breaks my heart. Linda

Our deepest condolences to Carol and the family of Danny. Danny will be remembered as a fabulous friend and an all around fair guy whom loved his family and friends. We were blessed to have Danny in our lives.
