David Lewis Obituary

David cherished two relationships above all things- one with the Lord and other with the love of his life- his wife. He volunteered and served as a Sunday School teacher, Gideon, and on many councils of the churches he attended. He loved serving others. He was very proud of his kids and grandchildren. He worked as a mechanic, specializing in large engines and farm equipment. He rose to the level of regional service representative. Many people considered him a legend in the profession due wide skill set. He was an avid reader and lifelong learner. He was loved by many people and will be missed.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Biser (Kenneth); son, Christopher Lewis; grandchildren, Gavin Lewis, Jacob Lewis (Judy), Natalia Biser, Noah Biser; great-grandchildren, Malena Lewis-Rodriguez, Maverick Outlaw; brothers, Daniel Lewis (Christine), William Lewis; sister, Gail Lewis Ice; brother-in-law, Andy Revill; and sister-in-law, Donna Laws.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 3rd at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.

Thoughts and prayers to the family of Mr. Lewis. I had the enjoyment of traveling with David during his years with AGCO. I enjoyed the historical knowledge he shared during my visits. Especially his knowledge of the civil war details. I know he was faithful to God and loving father from our discussions. He will be missed but his memories will live on.
