David Bryan London, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, October 28th, 2024 with his wife and loved ones by his side.
Born in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of Jack Daniel London and Harriett Roberts London. David sold Bibles door-to-door during college to afford tuition, and he later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. In May 1975 he married Suzanne (Sandi) Sirls, the love of his life for 50 years. Soon after, David began working for his father-in-law and very quickly won the hearts of clients all over Middle Tennessee. He went on to manage and own the insurance agency, then later retired from Sirls-London Insurance after 40 years in the business. He was happiest with a book in hand, on the golf course with his daughter, or spending time with his grandson. David loved the Lord first, loved his families deeply, cared for his daughter's friends like they were his own, and he spoiled his wife and daughter daily. If he was your friend, he was the most faithful you had.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roberts London, father-in-law Bill Sirls and mother-in-law Suzanne Sirls. David is survived by his wife, Sandi London, daughter Leah London (Webb White), brother Jack London (Edna), sister Suzanne Nerren (George), sister-in-law Kim Hill (Buddy), brother-in-law Steve Sirls (Allen DeCuyper), nephew Will Hill, niece Didi Hartman (Grant), grandchild Jack White, many cherished nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Beau.
The family thanks Vanderbilt Palliative Care, Alive Hospice, and all of the wonderful caregivers who took such great care of him.
Pallbearers include Buddy Hill, Will Hill, Grant Hartman, Rob Cox, Steve Ford, Wirt Piper, and George Nerren. Honorary Pallbearers include Steve Parker, Steve Mays, James Turner, James Garver, Steve Nelson, Donnie Baldwin, Danny Smith, and Norma Barton.
Visitation will be at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 9th, 11:00am-1:00pm, followed by the service at 1:00pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cumberland Heights (Nashville) or First United Methodist Church (Gallatin).
Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
