David Lyons Jr. (Big Bubba) was born in Louisville, Ky on February 12, 1975, to the late and Great Capt. David Lyons Sr. and Gwen Green-Lyons. David Jr was preceded in death by his father David Lyons Sr and his brother Michael Vickers, paternal grandparents James and Annell Lyons, maternal grandparents Samual A Green Sr and Mary Green Calloway.

David Christian life started at Lampton Baptist Church where he attended Sunday school and was a junior usher. As a adult he became a member of Gospel Missionary Church under the leadership of Bishop Dennis Lyons. David graduated from Doss High school in 1993. David played basketball all through his years in school. David was a die-hard Louisville fan.

David loved helping people, especially in his work as a professional driver for TARC 3, Active Day, and Cedar Lake. Everyone that David encountered instantly loved him, he never met a stranger, and everyone instantly became his friend. David loved playing cards, especially spades and hanging out. He was fun to be around. David will be greatly missed.

David leaves to cherish his memories his mother Gwen Green-Lyons; sisters, Shauna and Gwenetta; two aunties, Betty Lyons-Marks (Greensboro, NC), and Rebecca Lyons-Starnes (Shang); and host of loving of family and friends and especially his Homeboys.
