David Dale Mahurin, age 86 of Dandridge, passed away in the early morning Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Dale and Martha have shared a wonderful 68 year marriage, never seeing one without the other, a constant abiding love. He was a member of Swannsylvania Baptist church and part-time Sunday School teacher. He was born and raised in Indianapolis where he pastored a church with his father for many years before retirering to Tennessee. Services will be Saturday January 18th at Swannsylvania Baptist church. Viewing will be from 11:00 - 1:00, with service at 1:00. Burial will follow immediately. He is survived by wife Martha, daughter Michele Mahurin, grandson Kyle (Mollie) Burdette, great-granddaughters Mary and Lizzie, brothers Larry (Judy), Gary (Nancy) and sister Judy (Mahesh) Dhokai. He was preceeded in death by his parents Shay and Lou Mahurin and son Michael Mahurin. Memorial contributions could be made to WMU or the Food Pantry at Swannsylvania Baptist church in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are being handled by Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge.
