David Manning, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 35, in Brenham, Texas. Born on January 29, 1990, in Beaumont, Texas, David lived a life marked by his passion for dog training, love of travel and his unwavering love for his family and friends.
David is survived by his devoted mother, Penny Connally and her husband, Chris of Austin; his father, Robert Manning of Caldwell, Texas; his cherished grandmother, Page Rogers of Nederland, Texas; as well as his beloved siblings, brother Tyler Manning of Brenham and sister Avery Manning of Caldwell. Each of these family members fondly remember David's warmth, humor, and his unique ability to connect with all beings, especially the dogs he trained with such dedication. David was quick to jump on a plane and travel around the world just to experience new places, meet new friends and enjoy life from other culture's viewpoints. He taught English in China, drank beer on the Great Wall of China with his mother, worked dogs and swam with elephants in Malysia, spent Christmas in Iceland, New Year's in Rockefeller Center and backpacked across France.
The family will gather to honor David's memory during a visitation on November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627.
David's legacy of kindness, loyalty, and dedication to his craft will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered in the stories and memories shared by his family and friends.
