David A. Mason

David A. Mason, 44, of Keansburg, passed away Tuesday, August 2nd. David lived in the Bayshore area his entire life. David was a people person. He loved to be with his family. His kids were his number one priority and he always wanted the best for them. He loved having family and friends get together and have a good time. David was always the life of the party. He loved being outside, music and sports. His favorite teams were the Raiders and Lakers. David was a jack of all trades and knew a little bit about everything. He even dabbled in arts and crafts. David will fondly be remembered a devoted father and brother and as a man who had a lot of love to give.
David is survived by his 3 children; sons, Bajon Greenwood and David Mason; daughter, Callie Rae Mason and a stepdaughter, Azuria Spann. He also leaves behind his sister, Brianna Mason and 2 brothers, Adrian Mason and Rashad Jackson along with his girlfriend Nicole Kane and his nieces and nephews: Anthony Karcher, Viniyah Glover, Vincent Glover, Jr. and Xavier Ignotis. He is also leaves his Aunt Rose (Larry, Sr.) Stinson,; cousins, Shalverri Stinson, Kisha Stinson and Larry (August) Stinson, Jr. and a host of younger cousins in Alabama.
David was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Florek-Mason, his grandmother Dorothy "Dot" Egister and his Uncle Ron "Skip" Scott.
A Memorial Gathering will take place Friday, August 19th from 3 - 5 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Service will conclude the evening at 5 pm.
