David McWard Obituary
He is survived by siblings: Elaine Sanders, of Palmyra, Annebell (Walter) Rees, of Virden; Along with several Nieces, Janet Bartus, Janice (Rod) Murphy, Joyce (Mike) Kirk, Joanna (Brett) Schemerhorn, Julie (Tony) Rogers, Leslie (Mathew) Peterson, and Ashlie (Keith) Richard. Along with Nephews, John (Jennifer) Rees, Chris McWard, and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Bill Mcward; and sister: Diane Huyear.
David was a lifelong farmer and rancher. He also attended MacMurray College, before working for the Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company. David was a longtime member of the Freemasons and Shriners. Dave served his country as a member of the Air National Guard.
Masonic funeral rites will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2024, at Stults- Neece Funeral Home in Palmyra. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
