David Lynn Meador, age 68 of Seminole, Texas, passed away in Seminole on September 25, 2025. A memorial will be set at a later date. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. His family has lovingly provided the following obituary.

David was born August 13, 1957, in Slaton, Texas to Helen (Duckworth) and Morris Meador. He grew up on his family's farm outside of Acuff, Texas, with his younger brother, Charles, both attending Roosevelt Schools and members of the Baptist Church. David had lived in Seminole since 2016.

Unlike some older brothers, David loved to be around his little brother and always included him in whatever activities he was doing. Charles fondly remembers David always taking him along to go places, never leaving Charles out of the fun. David always enjoyed farming and working with animals. Throughout his life, he had many pets and adored them dearly. Animals were always drawn to him as well.

David was a talented bowler and was a member of several leagues during his younger years. Later on, he enjoyed clogging and square dancing, which became quite a passion of his. Though he had enthusiasm for many hobbies, his true love and joy came from his only daughter, Nicole. She was the light of his life and the reason he moved through life. He was always very proud of her and of the family and life she created. David never met a stranger and was loved so much by his friends and family, especially his daughter.

David Meador is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one daughter, Alyssa Nicole Green and husband Corey of Midland, Texas; one brother, Charles Meador and wife Tami of Lubbock, Texas; and two grandchildren, Kenneth and Kameron Green of Midland.
