David-Mikhail Pomaika'I Wale Decosta-Das

David-Mikhail Pomaika'i Wale Decosta-Das, affectionately known as "Das", 36 years young, passed away on August 30, 2024 in Fleming Island, Florida. He was the husband of Celia Das and father of Carina Das.
Das was born and raised in Hawai'i, he was the son of Leona Steel. He graduated from Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns County. He was employed at Holeshot Powersports since 2017 and worked in sales.
Das will be remembered for his energetic spirit, laugh, and willingness to help others. His legacy, one of sheer generosity, kindness, and helpfulness will continue to guide and inspire us. Das touched so many lives in his journey and his absence will be deeply felt by the multitude of people he influenced.
Das is survived by his wife, Celia Das, his daughter Carina Das, his mother Leona Steel (Brian Roberts), brother Kyle Steel and his grandparents, Elvira Beck and James Miyamoto.
A celebration of Das' life will take place on September 21, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Club Continental, located in Orange Park, Florida.
