Elizabeth Shoals Obituary
A proud graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1950, Betty began her career as a legal secretary with the law firm of Upchurch, Melon & Upchurch. She later served as executive secretary to the director of the Mission of Nombre de Dios, to the Florida Peace Officers Association, and with the law firm Mickler & Mickler. She eventually retired from Prosperity Bank of St. Augustine, where she served as secretary and vice president.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with Reverend Fr. Matthew Ibok officiating. Burial will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday December 4, 2025, at Craig Funeral Home Chapel.
Betty is survived by her son, Franklin "Buddy" Shoals, and her daughter, Carolyn Shoals, along with four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Elizabeth Carolyn Shoals, please visit our floral store.
