Susan McKeever Obituary
Born October 11, 1958 in New York City, she was raised by Marian McKeever nee Sykes and Charles Richard McKeever in Chappaqua, NY. After graduating from Horace Greeley High School, she went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems at Boston University. After years in Advertising, she moved from Boston to Hilton Head Island, and then to St. Augustine Florida. Susan retired in 2023 after a successful and accomplished career designing and managing information systems.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 Years, John Anthony Quattrochi, her step son John Quattrochi Jr. with wife Megan, their children Leona and Lorenzo, step daughter Gina Quattrochi, her sister-in-law Judy Quattrochi, and her pointers Presto and Zoli.
Sue and John loved traveling together. Their many visits to Maine, an Alaskan cruise, trips to Spain and Siena, Italy for the famous Palio horse race were favorite memories. They joined the St. Augustine Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed dinners and socializing with their many close friends.
She loved animals from an early age and never stopped, especially horses and dogs. Sue had a passion for animals and was most often engaged with her beloved German Wirehaired Pointers, Spumoni, Romeo, Presto & Zoli. She was very active in the dog sport world earning top titles in AKC conformation, agility, obedience, and rally. One of the most treasured hobbies included attending dog events and spending time with the many good friends she made over the years. Her kindness, laughter and love for Agility will echo at every gate.
Her friends and family cherished her sense of humor, beautiful smile, incredible energy, and love of life. She brought joy to everyone she met at the St Augustine Rod & Gun Club, her neighborhood, and the friends she met along her life. She was unforgettable.
Sue had a kind and loving spirit and generous heart. Her quick wit and laughter will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

What an amazing woman, first starting her agility training while in the Savannah area...She was not afraid of making mistakes and actually trained Spumoni to weave backwards...we laughed with her and by the next weekend he was doing his weaves properly....she was an awesome trainer! My heartfelt condolences to her family and her friends in the Dog Community. Once she left the HHI area, we didn't see much of her except at the Florida Trials, and of course the Invitational - those times were always busy and I wish we could have had more time to "catch up"
RIP Sue, you are missed.
