Age 92, passed away at Sayre Health Care Center on Tues. Jan. 14, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 28, 1932 in Wellsboro, PA. Son of the late, Richard & Wanda Goodwin Mosher. David was a graduate of S.H.S., class of 1951. He married Mary Etta Gleason, and they shared 54 years of marriage until her passing on December 13, 2006. In service to his country, David served in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1950-1963. David was a sheet metal worker for over 30 years, and was self employed as a truck driver and a member of the Sheet Metal Union # 112. His interests included spending many summers with his friends at their cabin on White Lake, Ontario, Canada; playing golf with his sons and friends; traveling the United States with his wife; camping, hunting and fishing; working in his garage on Saturday's with his sons and family friend, Larry Seeley. David spent many years as a snowbird in Zephyrhills, FL. He is survived by his loving children, Allyn & Jeanette Mosher, Zephyrhills, FL; Gary & Kristie Mosher, Gillett, PA; and Carol (Nelson) Harris, Millerton, PA; seven grandchildren, Patrick & Joshua Mosher, Heather Johnson, Jillian Breckenridge, Mark, Karen and Christopher Wheeler; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Dwork, Hendersonville, NC; special friend, Betty Gruver; several nieces, nephews and family friends. In addition to his parents and wife, David was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Mosher and Wayne (Jackie) Mosher. Family and friends will be received at Millerton United Methodist Church, 5443 Main St. Millerton, PA 16936 on Sat. June 14, 2025 from 10 –11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Holiday, PA. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Millerton Backpack to support children in Jackson Township, PO Box 177 Millerton, PA 16936.
