David Muncy, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away at the age of 66 on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Norton Scott Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. Born on August 20, 1959, in Redbird, Kentucky, David was the beloved son of the late Dill Muncy Jr. and Geraldine (Caldwell) Muncy, who survives him.
David dedicated 23 years of service to Nippon Steel in Seymour, Indiana, before retiring. His commitment to his work was only surpassed by his devotion to his faith as a steadfast member of the Broadway Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his sons, Jonathan Muncy of Seymour, Indiana, and Danny Muncy of North Vernon, Indiana. His sister, Sharon Muncy Spence of Louisville, Kentucky, many friends and church family, also remains to honor his memory. David's joy was multiplied by his two grandchildren, Jaylyn Muncy and Josie Campbell. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Muncy, and his brother, Larry Wayne Muncy
