Matthew's legacy is carried on by his beloved children, son Hunter Hensley-Bush of Paris Crossing, Indiana, and daughter Olivia Hensley of Seymour, Indiana. They were the light of his life, and he dedicated himself to being the best father he could be, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family.
He is also survived by his devoted father, William Hensley, and step-mother, Lori Hensley, of Scottsburg, Indiana. Matthew's memory will be cherished by his siblings: brother William (Christine) Hensley of Missouri; sisters Kristie (Javier) Lopez of Columbus, Indiana, Savannah (Omar) Perez of Seymour, Indiana, Gabrielle Hensley, Mackenzi Hensley, Zola Hensley, and Pyper Wells, all of Scottsburg, Indiana. His brother-in-law William Hohnstreiter of Seymour, Indiana, will fondly remember Matthew's kind heart and spirited conversations.
