David Owen "DOC" O'Connor,66, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 8th, 2024 at his home. He was the son of Robert and Nancy (Balliet) O'Connor.
David is survived by his wife Sheila (Bartle) his daughter Jenni, his grandchildren Shyrone Jones Jr. and Peyton Jones, his sister Mary (Ed) Bambrough, his brother Pat (Jill), his Aunt, Carolyn Balliet, and his best friends Steve and Joni Posler and Brandon Post.
He spent his last week with friends in his Happy Place, a family cabin near Minocqua, fishing and relaxing. He was always eager to help friends and relatives whenever he could. He always had a kind word to say. He had many friends and business associates. He will be greatly missed by all.
"Ol' man, you left me too soon. I miss you so much. I know you're looking over me. I see you every day flying by as a white butterfly. I know you're no longer in pain and that puts me at ease, but I still miss you more than ever. Love you so much."..Jenni..
David was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Robert O'Connor.
A celebration of life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the family to help offset the unexpected costs. These donations may be made to the Pratt Funeral and Cremation Services in assisting the family with their arrangements.
