Dave passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at DMC University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 60. The son of the late Larry and Kathleen (Cross) Obermiller was born December 10, 1964 in Bay City, Michigan. Dave enjoyed listening to classic rock, spending time with his dog Beau, and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Karley Obermiller (her significant other, Sam Braun); his siblings, Martin (Joan) Obermiller, Jeff Obermiller (his significant other, Kimmie) Jodi (Steve) Swanson and Matthew (Katherine) Obermiller; Daves significant other, Susie Thompson and her daughters, Erica and Emily and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parent’s, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Obermiller and his nephew, Adam Sauve.
At Daves request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Williams Township Hall (1080 W.
