David Keith Parish, age 61, of Coal Hill, passed away at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on July 18, 1964 to the late Burel Parish and Ruby Edwards.
David moved from Forrest City to Heber Springs at the age of 8 and resided in Heber Springs through most of his adult years. He graduated high school, married the love of his life, Carla Barnes Parish, and raised his children in Heber Springs until moving to Coal Hill, Arkansas 10 years ago. David loved to fish and he loved to watch any sports program, especially football and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was an avid TV watcher, besides sports, he loved to watch The Andy Griffith Show, gameshows, and the news.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Burel and Ruby Edwards. David is survived by his wife, Carla (Barnes) Parish; sons, Jeffery Parish of Coal Hill, Arkansas, Steven Parish (LeAnna) of Pangburn, Arkansas, and Patrick Parish of Coal Hill; daughter, Pamala Hazelwood (Buddie) of Clarksville, Arkansas; brother, Randy Parish of Heber Springs; seven grandchildren; and many wonderful extended family members and great friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service for David will be at 4:00pm, Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Buchanan officiating.
