David Pasquale Obituary

David Pasquale, age 78, of Lowell, Michigan, entered the presence of his Lord on December 21, 2025, passing peacefully and surrounded by the love and prayers of his family.
David was born on February 10, 1947, to Angelo and Cecilia (Parwulski) Pasquale and grew up in Fredonia, New York. He graduated from Cardinal Mindszenty High School, where he built lifelong friendships and remained closely connected with his classmates, most recently celebrating their 60th reunion this past summer. He was married to his beloved wife, Anne, for 53 years. Together they built a faithful and loving home that remained the center of his joy.
David was a man of deep faith, quiet integrity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He cherished his family and modeled a life of steadfast work, humility, and servant leadership. His spiritual life was central to who he was, and he was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Lowell. One of his great joys was worshiping and serving alongside his church family.
David valued education and was a lifelong learner, earning master's degrees from Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and George Washington University. He encouraged his children in their own academic pursuits, and he took great pride in the accomplishments of his family.
He dedicated 24 years as City Manager of Lowell, leading with integrity, humility, and quiet strength. He loved the community deeply and took great joy in seeing the city grow and develop over the years. After retirement he continued to serve on the Lowell Airport and Fire Department boards. In addition to his public service, he was a longtime member of the Lowell Rotary Club and served faithfully for many years on the boards of Alpha Care Center and Flat River Outeach Ministry, reflecting his commitment to serving others and his community.
He enjoyed long walks, good conversations, and following Michigan State football and basketball. A devoted Detroit Tigers fan, he also loved attending West Michigan Whitecaps games with his family and maintained an impressive baseball card collection.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Cecilia (Parwulski) Pasquale; son, Joseph; and brothers, Thomas, Ronald, and James. He is survived by his wife, Anne; his children, Michael (Monica), Catherine (Roger) Wilhelm, and Elizabeth (Eric) Holm; and grandchildren, Alex, Daniel, John, Rose, and Mikayla.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Cascade Trails Assisted Living and CorsoCare Hospice for their wonderful care and compassionate service.
Visitation will be held from 9-11AM from on Saturday January 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Lowell, 2275 W. Main St., Lowell, Michigan 49331, with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 11AM. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to First Baptist Church of Lowell, Alpha Care Center, 519 E Main Street Lowell, MI 49331, or Flat River Outreach Ministry, 11535 Fulton St. E, Lowell, MI 49331.
His life was marked by faith, integrity, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David was my cousin. His father and my father grew up with 9 brothers and sisters in a house not much bigger than my 2 car garage during the depression. They learned hard work and honesty. I was just thinking of David. My deepest condolences to the family.

I knew Mr. Pasquale through my work as a reporter for The Grand Rapids Press. He was always a pleasure to work with, and I found him to be humble, honest and dedicated to the growth and health of his community. My condolences to Anne and all his loved ones.

Dave and Anne were and are deeply faithful members of First Baptist Church and the community of Lowell and served in many capacities to enrich the church and the town with the gifts that God blessed him with. Much more that stands out to me was Dave´s love for his Lord and Savior Christ Jesus whom he is with now for eternity...
