David J. Pelletier

David J. Pelletier, 63, of Bristol, beloved husband of Danielle "Dee" Mercier, died on Saturday (December 27, 2025) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain.

He was born on August 16, 1962, in Eagle Lake, ME and was a son of Claudette (Gaboury) Pelletier of Eagle Lake, ME and the recently late Dale J. Pelletier, Sr.

He was a native of northern Maine where he graduated from Fort Ken Community High School. He served in the United States Army from 1982 until 1985 before settling in Bristol. Among his workplaces was Orafol Americas, Inc of Avon.

David was an avid woodworker who enjoyed building things such as picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and bird houses.

In addition to his wife and mother, David is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ouellette and her daughter, Natalie; four siblings: Debbie and Donat Cyr of Winterville, ME, Diane Pelletier of Eagle Lake, ME, Billy and Colleen Pelletier of Terryville, and Dale and Lisa Pelletier of Eagle Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Pelletier.
