David Powell Obituary
David Ingram Powell passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Crowell Community Cemetery with Rev. Heath Holly officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 at Crowell United Methodist Church.
Mr. Powell was an Industrial Production Manager (retired) at Robins AFB, and a US Navy veteran honorably serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Virgil Powell and Blanche C. Powell; his wife Belinda M. Powell; and a brother-in-law, Glen Almand.
Survivors include his significant other, Mavis Stevens of Reynolds; two sons, Brian Powell of Reynolds and Derek Tribble of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Anne (David) Rushing of Reynolds; five grandchildren, Daniel, Caroline, Courtney, Connor, and Tyler, and two great-granddaughters Paislee and Henlee; two sisters, Delores Almand of Marietta and Diane R-Love of Gaithersburg, MD; two brothers, Thomas (Dianne) Powell of Smyrna and Donald Powell of Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Brian Powell. 174 General John B. Gordon Road, Reynolds, GA.
