David Louis Quinn, 58, passed away at his home in Gonzales, Texas, on June 10, 2025. He was born on September 08, 1966, in Temple, Texas to William C. Quinn and Patsy L. Quinn.
David lived a life full of adventure. Growing up, he loved spending his summers with his grandparents in Moffet, Texas, working in the field with his grandfather, tinkering with old cars, and tearing motors apart to sell for scrap. David went on to graduate from Lockhart High School, Class of 1985.
On April 12, 2003, David Married Dawn Delise Gattis, and gained his two daughters, Madison and Shelby, David was so happy that he had his family, thinking he was complete. In July 2004, David gained his son, Robert Louis Quinn. David found heaven on earth when God gave him his family.
David worked many years with his family trucking business until he began working in the automotive business as a service manager. He loved spending time with his family, camping and scouting adventures with his son and most recently, spending every spare minute with his grandsons, Trey and Mateo.
David is survived by his wife, Dawn Quinn, his daughter Madison (Jose) Chavira and their children, Trey and Mateo, his daughter Shelby Martinez (Kyle) and his son Robert Louis Quinn. David is also survived by his mother, Patsy Quinn and his sister Teresa Donnell (Frank). David was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Quinn.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lockhart State Park pavilion on July 05, 2025, at 11:00am.
