David J. Rahmlow, age 80, passed away at Primrose Retirement Community on Sunday, November 2, 2024.
He was born on August 15, 1944, the son of Wilbert and Eleanor (Timm) Rahmlow. David was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 1962, and then attended Fox Valley Technical College.
David married Gretchen (Schulz) on July 31, 1981. He was a member at St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Center. David worked for Aid Association for Lutherans for a number of years, and then was a dairy farmer from 1980 until his retirement.
David is survived by his wife Gretchen, his daughter, Heather (Brian) Grandaw and his son, Todd Rahmlow. He is further survived by his brothers, Ken (Jean) Rahmlow, Richard (Peggy) Rahmlow, and Keith Rahmlow, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Eleanor Rahmlow and in-laws, Lester and Jean Schulz/Schleis.
Visitation for David will take place at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church (Highway 47 North, Appleton, WI) on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
